Mrs. Bottomley was the widow of Estel Keith Bottomley. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Troy Doyle Rorrer and Lena Kate Cox Rorrer. She was born in Carroll County, VA, the Pipers Gap Community.

Surviving, son and spouse, Bryan K. and Lisa C. Bottomley of Galax, VA; sister and spouse, Pat and Mike Kaine.

Funeral service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Midway Heights Community Church, Galax, VA; Rev. James Cowley will officate. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour preceding the funeral service.
