Larry was born at Danbury, Iowa, his father, Randolph Wright and mother, Antha Stamper Wright.

Surviving, wife, Patricia H. VanHoy of the home: two granddaughters, Jillian N. Isom and Jessi Leigh (Daniel) Truong; great-granddaughter, Allie Truong.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Independence, VA;

Military rites conducted at graveside by Grayson County VFW Post 7726.

There will not be a visitation at the funeral home.
