Dean was born at Whitetop,VA

Surviving, sister, Josephine Finley of Whitetop; two sisters-in-law, Ada Blevins of Manassas, VA and Frances Belvins of Whitetop; several nieces,nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Helton Valley Baptist Church, Whitetop, VA; Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, September 4 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Rex Hall and Rev. Wayne Roark will officiate.

The family will be at the home of the niece, Norma McMeans, 544 Fees Branch Road, Lansing, NC, where friends amy call at any time.
