Alan Barry Morton
Alan Barry Morton passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026. He is survived by his wife Glenna, his daughter Emily and her two children, Emma Kate and Henry, and his son Mitchell, his wife Natalie, and their two sons, Quinn and Avery.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Young's Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Doug Turnmire and Pastor Chris Luper officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Young's Chapel Cemetery Fund c/o Rodney Halsey or to Mt. Valley Hospice 7599 Carrollton Pike, Ste C, Galax, VA 24333.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, VA is serving the Morton family.
