Albert Stanley, age 76, of Independence, Virginia went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2020 at the Grayson Rehab and Nursing Center in Independence.  He was born on March 3, 1944 in West Virginia.

He will be remembered for his smile, his kindness, and his love for work.  He was an encourager to his fellow patients at the nursing home.

He is survived by his guardian, Deborah Brewer of Galax, Virginia; a special advocate, Shannon Shupe of Hillsville, Virginia; his many friends of Grayson House; and his extended family at Grayson and Nursing Rehab Center.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, at 2:00 PM at the Independence Cemetery by Rev. Chuck Edwards.
