Algie Frances Roupe, age, 88 of Piney Creek, North Carolina died on May 13, 2020 at her home.  She was born on July 7, 1931 in Amelia, Virginia to Trevor and Mary Ella Noxon Hutchens.

She is survived by her husband, William Howard Roupe of the home; one daughter, Anita Carol Choate of Sparta, NC; son and daughter-in-law, William H. Roupe Jr. and Karen of Piney Creek, NC; granddaughter Dana Choate of Charlotte, NC; brother, Norman Hutchens of Amelia, Virginia; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the New Haven Church of the Brethren Cemetery Fund c/o Jackie Edwards 345 New Haven Church Road Sparta, NC 28675.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 PM at the New Haven Church of the Brethren in the Twin Oaks Community by pastor, Rev. Bobby Reed.  Services will be limited to the family members only.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
