Allen James Blevins, age 72, of Mouth of Wilson, VA passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC.  Allen was born on January 15, 1951, in Jefferson, NC to Elmer and Evelyn Spencer Blevins.  He loved the outdoors and found great joy in fishing.   He was a caregiver who found joy in providing for others.  He was an excellent cook who loved feeding family and friends.  His caregiving was extended into his professional career as an L.P.N. which spanned over thirty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Blevins.

Allen is survived by his wife of 31 years, Teresa Houck Blevins of the home; one daughter, Amber Blevins of the home; nephew, Doug Blevins of Independence, VA; cousin, Dakotah Blevins: and great-nephews, Mason and Levi Blevins.

At the request of Allen, there will be no formal services.
