Allen David Richardson, 90, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at his residence.  Allen Was born January 3, 1931, in Akron, Ohio to the late Glenn David and Ella Clyde Moxley Richardson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son Gary Richardson, sister Jewell R Thompson, and a son-in-law Wade Osborne.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Linda Funk Richardson; son Glen Paul (& Nancy) Richardson of Galax, VA; daughters Tammy R (& Roy) Holt of Pilot, VA, Natalie Y Osborne of Elk Creek, VA, Kristi Richardson (& husband Nathan Hayes) of Kingsport, TN; sister Una R Lindh of Sparta, NC; brother-in-law Marshall (& Jeanne) Funk of Elk Creek, VA; daughter-in-law Christina Richardson of Galax, VA. Allen is also survived by 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Comers Rock Cemetery in Elk Creek, VA on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 2:00pm.  Pastor Gleasanna Dixon officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Comers Rock Cemetery Fund.
