Amanda Elizabeth Bauguess Coe, age 50, of Independence, VA, passed away on February 12, 2024, at her home. Amanda was born on July 6, 1973, in Lancaster, PA to the late Charles Ray and Patricia Elaine Adams Bauguess.

Amanda's love for her family was endless. She treasured every moment spent with her loving husband. When her health permitted, she delighted in cooking and crafting, spreading her warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. As a dedicated mother, wife, and grandmother, she was cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Words could never express the love and devotion she had for her grandchildren.  Her love for them was unsurpassed.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Coe of the home; daughter, Jade Flora, and son-in-law, Justin Flora, of Independence, VA.; two brothers, Jeff Bauguess of Elkton, MD, Eddie Bauguess of Elkton, MD; and one sister, Pam Sizemore of Ennis, NC. Amanda adored her five grandsons, Joshua, Liam, Jayden, Quinton, Jaxon, and one granddaughter, Jordyn.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, 2:00 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Summerfield Cemetery in Fries, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, VA, PO Box 306, Independence, VA 24348.
