Anna Marie Paisley, age 66, of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Woltz Hospice House in Dobson, North Carolina.  Anna was born in Sparta, North Carolina on March 17, 1959, to Kyle Ray and Lessie Elizabeth Perkins Paisley.

Anna served as a custodian to Grayson County Public School System where she won the hearts of faculty and students alike.  She enjoyed riding the jeep trails and water crafting.  She was especially fond of camping.  Anna knew no stranger and was a friend to everybody she met.  She will be greatly missed.  Anna will be remembered for her dedicated and loving care to her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Aaron Murray of the home; brothers and sisters; special sister, Debbie; special nephew, Justin; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will honor Anna's request by having all services private.  Burial will follow in the Young's Chapel Cemetery in Mouth of Wilson, VA.
