Bessie Viola Sizemore Williams, better known as "Vi", age 103, of the Rugby Community of Mouth of Wilson, died at her home on Sunday morning, November 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Grayson County on February 26, 1919, to John and Lou Greer Sizemore.  Vi was no stranger to hard work and hard play.  She delighted in a good prank.  She was a much-loved member of the Rugby Community where she was known by all.  She was a faithful and caring wife to her late husband, Delmer Williams and a loving a dedicated mother to her children.  Vi's life can be best summed up a statement she made shortly before her death when she looked to her daughter and said, "I love everybody."  In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters and three brothers.

Remaining to cherish the memory of Mrs. Vi, are her son, Pete Williams of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Junior Spencer of Mouth of Wilson, VA; grandson, Daniel and Brenda Spencer of Mouth of Wilson, VA; one great-granddaughter, Ember Spencer of Mouth of Wilson, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church in Rugby, VA with the Pastor, Rev. Mark Jones and Rev. Warner Eller officiating.  Burial will follow in the Williams-Perkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, November 22, 2022 at the church from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home is serving the Williams family.
