Betty Jean Sartain, formerly of Independence, VA, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the home of her son in Deland, FL

She was born January 21, 1929 at Marion, NC to Cecil Carl Davis and Louise Good Davis

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Teddy Lester Sartain and son, Hubert Sartain. She was a retired Peoples Greeter at a Walmart Store

Surviving, son and wife, Terry and Deborah Sartain of Deland, FL, three grandchildren, Steven Sartain of Springfield, VA, Leighann Woodside of Angier, NC and Catherine Pierce of Raleigh, NC; five great-grandchildren also survive

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 10:00 A.M., in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapell, Independence, VA. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the service.
Rev. Mike Montgomery will officiate. Graveside service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Marion, NC
