Bettye Huffman Hackler, age, 84 of Highland Springs, VA passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Stuart VA. She is the daughter of the late Claude and Alma Jones Huffman having been born in Grayson County on March 9, 1938.

She was a devoted member of Oakwood Baptist Church in Highland Springs, NC.  She was a most loving wife and mother who made a happy and comfortable home for her family. She was lighthearted and fun loving and has left volumes of precious memories for her remaining family.

Surviving Ms. Hackler is one sister, Lucy Roberts of Comers Rock, VA; Niece, Linda and Reggie Johnson of Mt. Airy, NC; Nephew, Terry Holdaway of Wytheville, VA; Several other nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Ms. Hackler is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her son, Michael, three sisters, and three brothers-in-law.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reins-Sturdivant Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Holdaway and Rev. Jonathan Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.
