Mr. Bill Paul Walls age, 85, of Galax, died Thursday night, May 7, 2020 at the Waddell Nursing Home in Galax, Virginia.  He was born April 19,1935 in West Virginia to James Paul and Alma Benge Walls.  He was a retired carpenter.   He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Billy F. Walls; four sisters, Eula Holbrook, Margie Clay, Ruby Walls and Wanda Walls; two brothers Don Walls and Colburn Walls.  He is survived by his wife, Katherine Cox of the home; two sons, David Walls of Sparta, NC and Doug and Jeanette Goad of Galax, Virginia; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Tom Walls of Independence, Virginia and Glenn and Kate Walls of Galax, Virginia; one sister, Linda Walls of Sparta, North Carolina; one Uncle, June Benge of North Carolina; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Galyean Cemetery by Rev. Billy Ring and Rev. Glen Hyatt.
