Carol Sue Bryant Jeffreys, age, 83, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia died at her home on Friday, February 4, 2022.    Mrs. Jeffreys was born in the Fox Community of Grayson County on December 28, 1938, to James and Drucie Halsey Bryant. She served the Grayson County Public School System as a teacher for 32 years and was a member of the Pioneer Chapter of DAR having served as Chapter Regent. She was a faithful member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church and a member of the Grayson County Retired Teacher Association.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jeffreys was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Bryant.  She is survived by her husband, Gilbert V. Jeffreys of the home; one nephew Doug and Kathy Bryant of Galax, Virginia; one niece, Becky and John Capecci of Charlotte, North Carolina; great nephews, Sam Bryant of Charlotte, John Bryant of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Andrew and Mark Capecci of Charlotte; great-niece, Molly and Chip Phillips of Alexandria, Virginia.

Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Young's Chapel Baptist Church at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service at the church.  Private inurment services will be conducted at the Fox Cemetery in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.
