Mr. Charles Dean Bobbitt, age 71, of Independence died at the Twin County Community Hospital January 9, 2018.
Mr. Bobbitt was born April 1, 1946 to Charlie Gwynn and Mary Odessa Bobbitt.
He is survived by two brothers: Bobby and Linda Bobbitt and David Gwynn Bobbitt both of Independence, Virginia; two sisters; Dorothy Byrd of Galax, and Nancy and Joe Anderson of Independence, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, January 13, at 11:00 AM at the Independence Cemetery by Rev. Darrell Melton and Rev. Jeff Johnson. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:00 at the cemetery.
