Charles Randall Harrington, age, 53, of Independence, Virginia died at his home on February 16, 2020.  He was born on July 25, 1966 in Sparta, North Carolina to Rush Roa and Ruby Atwood Harrington.  He was preceded in death by his father.  He is survived by his mother, Ruby Atwood Ireson of the home; two step brothers, David Ireson and Kelly Thompson of Alexandria, Virginia and Robert and Peggy Ireson of Roanoke, Virginia:uncle, Dean Atwood of Sparta, NC; two aunts, Mary E. "Betty " Shaw of Independence, VA and Virginia Lee Bolt of Elk Creek, VA; cousins and spouses, Ronnie and Alexus Byrd, Kenneth and Rebecca Byrd, Jimmy Don and Judy Bolt, Evelyn and Eddie Osborne, Carolyn and Kenneth Richardson.  Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 by the Rev. Darin Brannock.  Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.  The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.
