Clare M. Holt, age, 83, of Roanoke, Virginia died on August 15, 2020 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.  She was born on May 29, 1937 in West Virginia to Randolph and Hazel Johnson Dixon.  She was the widow of Leroy Holt.

She is survived by sister, Delores Poindexter of Roanoke, Virginia; brother, James Dixon of Wytheville, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gleasanna Dixon and Dayle McKinney. Burial will follow in the St. John's Cemetery in Elk Creek, Virginia.  The family will be at the funeral home from 10:00 until the hour of service.
