Crystal Deneane West, age 56. Of Galax, Virginia died on August 12, 2020 at her home.  She was born on December 8, 1962 in Richmond, Virginia to John Austin and Mary A. Boggs Clemons.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, John D. Clemons.

She is survived by her daughter, Toni and Luis Gonzalez of Independence, Virginia; Four step-daughters, Courtney Hawks of Galax, Virginia, Shelby Acord of Independence, Virginia, Harley McWatters and Hannah Pollard both of Sparta, North Carolina; two-sisters, Myra and Brian Dunford and Charlene Fortune and friend, Chris, all of Wytheville, Virginia; brother, Lonnie Clemons and Cindy of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 at 4:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Randy Watts.
