Daniel Blair Walton, age 77, of Troutdale, VA passed away at his home on April 17, 2026. He was born in Marion, Virginia on September 13, 1948, to Daniel Greek and Sarah Caroline Campbell Walton. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1966 and was married to Tracy King in 1979. He was a licensed plumber and cabinet builder and was employed with Blue Ridge Mechanical Contractors. He attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Marion, VA. In later years he enjoyed mowing his lawn and working in his cabinet shop.
He is survived by his wife, Tracy K. Walton of Independence, VA; daughter, Sarah Danile Walton of Dublin, VA; son Marshall Walton of Troutdale, VA; one brother, David Walton of Troutdale; three sisters, Judy Arnold of Troutdale, Patricia Pierce of Baywood, VA, and Linda Delp (Archie) of Sparta, NC; one granddaughter, Dora Walton of Independence; 2 grandsons, Antonio Walton of Galax, VA and Joaquin Walton of Independence; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, April 20, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 at the Troutdale Baptist Church. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the Campbell Cemetery with Rev. Mark Lundy and Bro. Paul Arnold officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Troutdale Rescue Squad 291 Ripshin Road Troutdale, VA 24378.
