David Oscar Osborne, age 74, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia died on Friday, January 8, 2021 in Ashe County.  He was born in Virginia to Stanley Oscar and Gladys Sturgill Osborne.  He was a graduate of Virginia Tech earning a B.S. Degree.  He served in US Air Force.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia "Ginger" Ackerman.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma A. Blevins Osborne of the home; one daughter, Tiffany R. Osborne of the home, one sister, Joyce Ann Jones of Woodbridge, Virginia, one nephew, Stewart Jones of Atlanta, GA, and one niece, Courtney Jones of Woodbridge, Virginia;  a host of cousins and friends also survive.

Graveside services for the family will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Grassy Creek Cemetery in Grassy Creek, NC, by David VanHoy.
