Deborah Hash Sartain

Deborah Hash Sartain, age 64 of Wilmington, NC, passed away at her home on October 26, 2026. 

She is survived by her husband, Terry Sartain of the home; step son, Steve Sartain of Springfield, VA; step daughter, Leigh Ann Woodard of Fuquay Varina, NC; two sisters, Ethel Mabe of Woodlawn, VA and Margaret Sexton of Independence, VA; two brothers, Dan Hash and Homer and Dorothy Hash both of Independence, VA; one niece, Sandy and Mark Blair. 

In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Hash, James Hash, and Pete Hash.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gold Hill Cemetery in Independence, VA with Rick Miller and Dvid VanHoy officiating.

Services are in care of Reins~Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, VA.
