Debra "Debbie" Elizabeth Parsons passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem, NC.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Lee and Clara Hash Wingate.

Debbie is survived by her son, Brandon (Beth) Parsons of Independence, VA; step-grandson, Christopher McKinney of Independence, VA; two brothers, Allen (Wanda) Wingate of Galax, VA, and Junior (Susan) Wingate of Illinois; and one sister, Brenda Ward of Advance, NC.

At Debbie's request, there will be no formal memorial service. Those wishing to honor her memory may make memorial contributions to the American Lung Association by visiting lung.org/get-involved/ways-to-give.
