Donnie Clint Easter, age 48, of Elk Creek, VA passed away at his home on December 6, 2025.  He was born on May 18, 1977, in Galax, Virginia to Buey Mark and Martha Mae Gravely Mounce.

Donnie found great joy in making people laugh.  It mattered not to him whether anybody was laughing with him or at him, he was delighted if they were laughing.  He was an amazing father who was very dedicated to his daughter.  He will be remembered as a man who had a good heart.  He was a hard worker as long as his health permitted.  He loved his family and had many loyal friends.  He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayla and Steven McMillan of Independence, VA; one son Noah Russell of Stuart, VA; brother Duey and Casity Easter of Roanoke, VA; Uncles, Dan Gravely of Winston-Salem, NC and Terry Bunn; special cousin, Terri Ann Morris of Mt. Airy, NC; special friends, Patricia Bowen, Charles Harris, Anthony Bobbitt, Shawn Bowen, Debbie McMillan, Holly David, Stephanie Hash, and a host of additional friends.

Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Bobbitt officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
