Douglas Bryan Hudson, age 58, of Galax, died on February 8, 2023, at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  He was born on November 29, 1964, in Sparta, North Carolina to Joseph Randall and Mary Rosetta Holdaway.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Darin Hudson, nephew, Michael Hudson, and cousin, Ladawn Edwards.

He worked in furniture assembly and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy and Dale Earnhardt fan.  He was talented at building model cars. He enjoyed life and will be remembered by his family as full of fun!

He is survived by his father and mother, Joseph Randall Husdon and Mary Rosetta Smith; one son, Bryan Lineberry of Galax, VA; three daughters, Brandy and Autumn Evans of Texas and Jessica Mares of Hillsville; sister, Sandra Wilson of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers, Charles Hudson of Maryland, Randall Hudson and Kenneth Hudson both of Galax, VA.

Funeral services and interment will be private.  Burial will be in the Grubb's Chapel Cemetery.
