Elizabeth Ann Edwards, age 69, of Whitetop, Virginia, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, North Carolina.  She was born in Whitetop, Virginia on March 21, 1949 to James Dewey and Mary Elizabeth Blevins.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Dean Morris of Southport, NC; special sisters; Patricia A. Wilcox of Lansing, North Carolina, Elaine Watkins of Spotsylvania, Virginia, four grandsons:  James Morris (Ashley), Billy Suggs, Owen Morris, Xander Morris; three great-grandchildren:  Hailey Morris, Issiah Morris and Alley Morris.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, James Stephenson Edwards.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 27, at 2:00 PM at the Helton Valley Baptist Church in Whitetop, Virginia by the Rev. Dennis Blevins.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will follow in the Walls Cemetery in Whitetop, Virginia.
