Ethan Lee Sizemore, age 24, of West Jefferson, NC passed away On Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Johnson City TN. Ethan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Teresa McGrady Sizemore; and his uncle, Josh Sizemore.

Ethan will forever be remembered as a loving father who delighted in spending time with his son. A loving son who had a laugh not to be forgotten. He loved to be outdoors hunting or fishing. He was always generous and willing to help anyone in need and also very protective of his baby sister, Elaina.

Ethan is survived by his mother, Tonya Sizemore, of the home; son, Spencer Saunders of Jefferson, NC; mother of his son, Kaitlyn Saunders of Jefferson, NC; sister, Elaina Miller (Trevor Ruppard) of Boone, NC; Father, Jonathan Blevins of West Jefferson, NC; maternal grandparents, Danny and Marnie Sizemore of Grassy Creek, NC; paternal grandparents, Jackie Blevins of West Jefferson, NC, and Shelia Blevins also of West Jefferson, NC; two aunts, Audrey Swing of NY, and Kelly Smith of Fleetwood, NC; several great aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Haw Orchard Church in Mouth of Wilson, VA with Jake Testerman, Pastor Roger Blevins, and Pastor Randy Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home, PO Box 306, Independence, VA 24348.
