Eunice Louise Cox Cole, age, 96, of Galax, VA died at her home on February 16, 2022.  She was born in Galax on August 27, 1925, to Paul and Anna Allen Cox who preceded her in death.

She was the Widow of Kyle Cole.

She and her husband operated their family farm working side by side.  While she was involved in every aspect of the farming operations, she maintained a position on the second shift of the Fries Cotton Mill until it closed.  Eunice and Kyle were hard workers who enjoyed old time music and were often found on the dance floor when a local band performed.  She will be remembered for her hard work and her zest for life.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty C. Manus of Blacksburg, VA and Norma C. Williams of Alabama; her caregivers, Donna L. Taylor of Ivanhoe, Kathy Gravley of Galax, and Liz Thomas of Woodlawn, VA; several nieces and one nephew also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery by Pastor Rick Clark in Independence, VA.
