Eva Halsey Campbell, age 85, of Troutdale Virginia the Grant Community died December 29, at the Smyth County Community Hospital/Mountain States Health Alliance in Marion, Virginia.

Funeral Services will be private at her request. Burial will be in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson, North Carolina.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Dennis and Cookee Campbell, of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Bobby and Diane Campbell of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia.
Three brothers: Rex Halsey of Independence, VA
Tommy and Hazel Halsey of Mouth of Wilson, VA
Pastor Doug and Jean Halsey of Mouth of Wilson, VA
One sister: Louise Adams of Piney Creek, NC

Two grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.
