Rev. Everett Rex Hall, age 91, of Mouth of Wilson, the Rugby Community died on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Grayson Health and Rehab Center in Independence, Virginia.  He was born on May 26, 1929 in Rugby Virginia to Jesse James and Mattie Ellen Barnes Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Henderson Hall; son, Richard Hall; grandson, Michael Kilby; brother, Frank Hall; sisters, Nancy Reedy and Mary Eller.

He is survived by two daughters and sons in law, Peggy and Freel Taylor of Elk Creek, Virginia, Janet and Gale Houck of Crumpler, North Carolina; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tex and Mary Hall of Dublin, Virginia, Terry Hall of Independence, Virginia, John and Martha Hall of Rugby, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hall of Rugby, Virginia; two sisters, Virginia Reedy of Troutdale, Virginia and Marie Spencer of Dobson, North Carolina; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews  also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Corinth Cemetery in Rugby, Virginia with Rev. Jim Frances and Rev. Jeff Blevins officiating. A public memorial service will be announced and conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rugby Rescue Squad and Fire Department 53 Rugby Road Mouth of Wilson, Virginia 24363.
