Frank Claude Caudell, age 66, of Galax, VA passed away at his home on March 6, 2023. He was born on Feb. 11, 1957, in Elk Creek, Virginia to Walter Claude and Nina Louise Wiles Caudell, who preceded him in death. Frank was a good friend to all and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anybody in need. He was a generous person who loved to share and give to others. He was loved by everybody, and everybody loved him. He remained very close to his family and especially enjoyed when the family came together for holidays. He was a collector of vintage cars and loved attending car shows. He was especially fond of his neighbor's dog, Rubble and his nephew-dog, Chance. Frank was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was proud of his military service.

He is survived by his three brothers, Jack and Sharon Caudell of Galax, VA, Jesse Caudell of Elk Creek, VA, and Roger Caudell of Fries, VA; two sisters, Mary and Randall Hines of Galax, VA, and Pam and Darrell Poe of Galax, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 12:00 noon at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Bonds and Speaker Carl Mason officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the hour of service at the funeral home. The burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Grant, VA with military honors conducted by the United States Army and the Grayson VFW Post #7726.
