Gioia Henderlite Halsey, age 72, of Mouth of Wilson died Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tennessee.  She was born April 3, 1947 in Marion, Virginia to Jack and Mable McKinnon Henderlite.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Gwyn Halsey of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Jerry Perry of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; son, Dwight Halsey of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; four very special grandchildren, Cassadi Perry, Christian Perry, Jackson Halsey, and Colton Perry.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Young's Chapel Baptist church by the pastor, Rev. Doug Turnmire.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Young's Chapel Cemetery.
