Mrs. Guida L Parsons, age 88, of Mouth of Wilson died at her home on March 11, 2019.  She was born on May 28, 1930 in the Volney Community to Jess J. and Mary Well Parsons.  She was the widow of John V. Parsons. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn P. Ham and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son-in-law Tim L. Ham of Mouth of Wilson, grandson, Nathaniel Ham of Mouth of Wilson, VA and granddaughter Brooklynn Ham of Mouth of Wilson, two sisters; Irene and Jim Sells of Volney and Muriel Jean Haga of Goose Creek, SC, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 17, at 2:00 PM at the Young's Chapel Baptist Church by Rev. Doug Turnmire and speaker, Brooklynn Ham.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
