Harry Andrew Morton, age 72, of Fries, Virginia, died on September 21, 2020 at the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center in Independence, Virginia.  He was born on April 20, 1948 in Independence, Virginia to Foy and Minnie Hampton Morton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mildred Morton; step-brother, Buster Cox; and step sister, Susie Pickett.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Morton of the home; two children, Andrea and Frankie Bishop of Galax, VIrginia and Amy and Darryl Filbeck of Benton, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Katie Bishop, James Bishop, Caleb Filbeck, Bradley Filbeck, and Lucas Filbeck; special friend, Kelly Person of Florida; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Jay Law and Jacob Nester..
