Hazel is survived by her husband, James E. Holdaway of the home; daughter and spouse, Melodie and David Cheek of Mouth of Wilson, VA; son and spouse, Shannon and Malette Holdaway of Mouth of Wilson, VA;
four grandchildren; Jenna Holdaway, Grayson Holdaway, Adanna Cheek and Zach Key; special nephew, Billy Key of Independence, VA; two special nieces, Betty June Sawyers and Wanda Testerman: a sister, Ruth Burnette of Galax, VA; a brother, Jimmy Hensdell of Tacoma, Washington and special friend, Sandy Crowe

Hazel was born in Wythe County, VA, to the late Will Hensdell and Nancy Isom Hensdell

Funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Monday, April 23, 2018
in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, VA.
Billy Key and Zack Key will officiate. Interment in Pine Branch Cemetery, Mouth of Wilson, VA.

The family will receive friends (Monday) from 4:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service and at other times at the residence, 2220 Wilson Highway, Independence, VA
