Hobert Reeves Osborne, age 96, of Independence, Virginia died on Thursday, October, 29, 2020 in Woodstock, Virginia.  He was born on October 7, 1924 in Independence, to Johnny and Hallie Brewer Osborne.

He is survived by daughter; Annie R. Vance of Fries, Virginia; son, Tommy Reeves Osborne of Independence; three grandchildren, Lacy Baldwin, Jennifer Osborne, and David Osborne; four great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Grubb's Chapel Cemetery in Independence by Rev. David Osborne.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Independence Volunteer Fire Department PO Box 588 Independence, Virginia 24348 or Independence Rescue Squad PO BOX 607 Independence, Virginia 24348.
