Mrs.  Glenna Duncan Osborne, age  94, of Independence, Virginia died March 10, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.  She was born on  April 15, 1925 in Sparta, NC to Glen and Rose Pardue Duncan.

Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 3:00 Bridle Creek Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00-2:00 PM.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband, John Hoyt Osborne, and her son, David Osborne and her grandson, Duncan Copeland.

She is survived by her two sons, John and Diana Osborne of Alexandria, VA; Danny and Cindy Osborne of Independence, Virginia; three daughters, Kathy and Bobby Evans of Sparta, North Carolina, Donna and Phillip Pickett of Independence, Virginia; Glenda and Al Crane of Wytheville; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
