Junior as we know him in Grayson County, Virginia, went to be with his Lord April 12, 2018 at his home in Danville, VA

He was born to the late Randall and Marie James Lane.

Junior is survived by four daughters and spouses and three granddaughters:

Daughters, Cindi Parish and son-in-law Robert of Danville, VA,
Debbie Warren and son-in-law John of Blairs, VA, Alicia Crumpton and son-in-law Jammie of Blanche, NC and Barbara Smith and son-in-law Eddie of Providence, NC: three granddaughters, Kaylee Rose Crumpton, Lanie Elizabeth Crumpton, and Alison Marie Smith all from Danville, VA; Also a sister Donnie Cole and husband Sam Cole of Independence, VA and Brother Dale and wife Maxine of Mouth of Wilson, VA; a sister-in-law Donna Sue Lane of Hickory, NC. and an aunt Leola James of Mouth of Wilson, VA, and many nieces and nephews that he thought a lot of. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Roy Lee Lane and nephew Jay Cole.

He was of Baptist Faith. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines
with a 40 year safe driving record.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018
in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel, Independence, VA. Interment in Baptist Union Cemetery, Flatridge, VA
Rev. Tim Boyette and Rev. Ted Bonham will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour preceding the service
