Jackie E. Haynes, age 73, of Galax, VA, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 at Waddell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Galax, VA

He was born at Galax to Everett Haynes and Beulah Thommason

Surviving, wife, Linda Phipps Haynes of the home; daughter & son-in-law, Jacqueline and Tommy Hampton of Galax, VA; two granddaughters, Laura Hampton and Katie Mayfield; one great-granddaughter, Karli Vaught and one great-grandson, Lane Mayfield; one brother and spouse, Bobby and Karen Haynes of Galax, VA; one sister, Delores and Tim Byrd of Galax; sister-in-law, Diane Haynes of Galax and several nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 22, 2018
in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ricky Miller and Rev. Allen Testerman officiating. Interment in Grubbs Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
