James Edward "Ed" Harris, age 85 of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia died on Friday, July 24, 2020 at his home.  He was born on June 27, 1935 in Rich Valley, Virginia to Toby and Blanche Farmer Harris.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 28. 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Doug Halsey and Rev. Murphy Brewer.    Burial will follow at the Ridgedale Methodist Church Cemetery in Rich Valley, Virginia.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and David Finney of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; Grandsons, Thomas Allen and Natasha Finney of Rural Retreat, Virginia and Christopher David Finney of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; great grandchildren, Kaci Finney, Caleb Finney and Kaylee Finney; three sisters, Ella Mae and Jimmy Tuggle of Marion, Virginia, Jean and Charles Roberts of Marion, Virginia, and Jenny Riley of Lebanon, Virginia; Several nieces and nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by his son, George Allen Harris, and his wife, Pheobe Virginia Cox Harris.
