James Clarence Wright, age 77, of Independence, Virginia died at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC on June 12, 2020.  Graveside services  will be conducted on Tuesday at 2:30 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery by Jimmy McKnight.  He was born on July 4, 1942 in Grayson County, Virginia.

He is survived by a special aunt, Ila Mae Hensdell of Independence, Virginia and Anna Lee Hall of Elk Creek, Virginia; several cousins also survive; special care-givers, Pat Davis and Rodney and Linda Fields.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery c/o Tony Nuckols 235 Wild Rose Lane Independence, Virginia.
