Carpenter and wife, Nancy Carpenter of Independence, VA; sister and husband Melinda and John Smith of Independence, VA; two step brothers, Bradley Hackler and wife, Sasha of Christiansburg, VA and Wes Thomas of Roanoke, VA; Several uncles, aunts and cousins, step-nieces, Aubrey Thomas, Eva Thomas, Annika Hackler, and a special friend, Linda VanHoy of Independence, VA

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 12, 2017
at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Comers Rock, VA.

Rev. Gleasana Dixon and Rev. Sam Bartlett will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour preceding the service.
