Janie was born at Fries, VA, to the late Marvin Gwyn Spurlin and Sarah Victoria Williams Spurlin.

She was the widow of Lee Trinkle Gore.

Surviving, two sons, Randy W. Gore
of Wesley Chapel, Florida, and Richard L. Gore of Fisherville, Kentucky; three sisters, one brother, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside service will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Mt. Zion United Methodist
Church Cemetery, Piney Creek, NC;

Rev. Wayne Jones will officiate.
There will not be a visitation at the funeral home.
