Jean Adams Wagg, age, 87, of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia died Sunday afternoon, December 16, 2018 at the Ashe County Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC.

Mrs. Wagg was born November 13, 1931 to Harrison P. and Mae Hill Adams.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Wagg, two daughters:  Joyce Wagg and Judy Wagg Bridgeman, a son-in-law, Dennis Bridgeman, one sister, Ruth Smith, three brothers, H.P. Adams, Dean Adams, and Charles Ray Adams.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; Jackie Wagg of the home and Jannie and Harry Wallace of Mocksville, NC; Two grandchildren:  Tanya (Arthur) Sherwood and Derek Bridgeman and fiancee, Alicia Miller; three great grandchildren: Nathan and Nicole Sherwood and Dylan Bridgeman; brother and spouse: Donald Joe and Sue Adams of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, sister and spouse:  Anna Mae and Gearl Henderson of Troutdale, Virginia, three sister-in-laws:  Musetta Halsey Adams, Louise Halsey Adams and Judy Sells Adams.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 19, at 2:00 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.  Services will be conducted by Rev. Warner Eller, Rev. David Brooks, and Rev. Mark Wagg.  Burial will follow in the Grassy Creek Cemetery.
