Jerry Melvin Jenkins, age 76, of Troutdale, VA passed away on January 18, 2024.  He was born on August 3, 1947, in Marion, Virginia to Bill Scott and Anna Wave Martin Jenkins who preceded him in death.  He was a heavy equipment operator specializing in road construction.  He was a collector of many things and a friend to a variety of friends.  He will be remembered as having lived an interesting and "mischievous" life!

He is survived by his son, Jay Melvin Jenkins of Marion, VA; one sister, Patsy Crisp of Independence; and one niece, Elaine and Allen Cox of Independence, VA.

Memorial services will be private, and inurnment will be in Honey Grove Cemetery.
