Mr. Edwards was born at Independence, Virginia to the late Olin Edwards and Sophie Reeves Edwards. He is also preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Edwards and his brother Bobby Edwards

Surviving, His wife,Jeanetta Edwards of the home; son and spouse, Wayne and Mary Caudill of Ennice, NC; two daughters and spouse, Sharon Sexton of Fries, VA and Tabitha and Ronnie Roten of Galax, VA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters and spouses, Virginia and Steve Farrell of Tennessee, Mary and Frank Worrell and Irene and Emmitt Thomas all of Richmond, VA; brother and spouse, Odell and Betty Edwards of Ennice, NC

Graveside service will be held Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.
in Shiloh Cemetery, Sparta, NC. Rev. Lamont Barber and Lament Barber will officiate

Family will receive friends at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home on Friday morning one hour preceding the graveside service.
