John Mack Edwards, age 93, of Independence, Virginia, passed away Sunday, November  25, 2018 at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
in Independence, Virginia.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Audra Cline Edwards.  He is survived by three sons and
daughters-in-law: Jerry and Darlene Edwards, Ricky and Debra Edwards, David and Teresa Edwards,all of Independence, VA,
two sisters,  Ruby Bowman of Louisville, KY and Edna Roberts of Independence, VA.; five grandchildren, Mike, Kim, James, Angie and John:  seven great grandchildren, Beth, Ashley, Devin, Austin, Sabe, Audra and Charlie; and three great-great-grandchildren, Colton, Eddie and London also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 28 at 2:00 PM in Pine Mountain Pentacostal Holiness Church with the burial to follow in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Rev. Doug Stuart will officiate.  Military rites conducted by Grayson County V.F.W. Post 7726.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services.
