John Allen Funk, of the Elk Creek community, passed away Monday June 7 at Bristol Regional Hospital in Tennessee. He was born March 19 of 1954 to parents John & Ellen Funk. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy.

John is survived by Son Jonathan Zachary Funk; Daughter Mellissa Dawn Schaffner; Brother Kenneth Funk; Sister Linda Funk-Caudell; Niece Caitlin Funk; Nephew Jason Hancock; Grandsons Michiah Roberts, John Oliver Funk, Fenix Funk; Granddaughters Hannah Roberts, Haleigh Smith, Ellie Funk

Memorial Service will be conducted Friday at 2pm at Reins Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Garry W. Adams officiating.
