Joyce was born at Jefferson, NC, to John Jackson Wagg and Jean Adams Wagg. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Wagg and sister, Judy Bridgeman.

Surviving, Her mother, Jean Adams Wagg of the home; Two sisters, Jackie Wagg of Mouth of Wilson, VA, and Jannie Wallace and husband, Harry of Mocksville, NC; Niece and husband, Tanya and Arthur Sherwood of Mouth of Wilson, VA; Nephew, Derek Bridgeman of Mouth of Wilson, VA; Two great-Nephews and One Great-Niece also survives.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, VA. Rev. Warner Eller will officiate. Interment to follow in Grassy Creek Cemetery, Grassy Creek, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M;. preceding the service.
