Mrs. Juanita Kesler Henry Midyette, better known as "Nenie" age, 90, of Jefferson died Tuesday morning at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, NC. Mrs. Midyette was born October 27, 1927 to Thomas Frederick and Juanita Kesler Henry in Salisbury, North Carolina. She was married to Eugene Midyette June 30, 1951. She served as a Social Worker in Mecklenburg County. Following her retirement, she relocated to the Glendale Springs Community of Ashe County where she was involved in many civic organizations. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Midyette of the home; two daughters: Sebia Petrovich of California and Lindy Hensley of North Carolina; one granddaughter, Abigail Petrovich of California. A host of friends also survive.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday at 3:00 at the Jefferson United Methodist Church by the Pastor David Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
